Leadership Development
The effectiveness of organizations and their ability to manage the unprecedented changes they face today is strongly dependent on their capacity to generate a new kind of leadership. Current evidence indicates that traditional theories and practices regarding leadership are no longer sufficient to meet the challenges and uncertainty of our time. At Newfield, we are reexamining the common understanding of leadership, and applying the tried and true best practices of leadership to organizations while also transcending them to include new competencies and capacities demanded by the current global environment.
Newfield’s seasoned and experienced coaches and facilitators will customize an initiative with you to work with your senior leaders to support them in embodying leadership that generates meaning, innovation, and effective action in their workplace.

My mission is to help leaders embody selfless leadership by practicing self-leadership. What I mean by that is, in traditional approaches to training and development, there is a built-in resistance to sustaining change over time, and that’s usually because the change is being externally imposed. Behind the philosophy of ontology is the capacity to sustain change because the focus shifts and rests completely with the leader.
When I began my work at Newfield, I was with Capital One Financial, working as a senior consultant in talent management. As a result of my experience, I am now working to bring attention to the role of trust in organizations. Newfield certainly ignited that possibility.
