Chris Balsley offers a somatic explanation to help with holiday stress.  How does your brain handle stress and anxiety?  How can you let your body know that you are not really "in danger"?  Chris offers some suggestions in this video and in this month's practice to help you feel more empowered in the face of holiday stress.

Did this help you understand your own response to stress and handle it differently?  We want to hear your thoughts!    Email editor@newfieldnetwork.com.

Chris Balsley has maintained a thriving and diverse private practice for over 25 years.  The current scope of his practice covers many domains, from corporate and executive coaching to presenting and program design, to leadership embodiment training and somatic psychology.  Chris’ coaching clients focus on becoming the most effective leaders they can be by learning how to communicate powerfully and clearly and by learning to leverage the connection between effective leadership and the human body.  A major component of his teaching and presenting looks at the human brain as it relates to learning, workplace stress, and leadership in the face of adversity.

In addition being a Newfield senior leader, Chris presents for Magis Group, training U.S. soldiers in performance enhancement, resiliency building, and stress mitigation.  He has coached clients in both English and Spanish in the U.S, Canada, Mexico, South America, Asia and Europe.
