Ontological Coaching: A Cut above the Rest
Ontological coach training may be your first bold step in a new direction
Coaching is more than a profession—it’s a calling. Ontological coaching® is a holistic and effective way to help people discover the best within themselves and open their view to new ideas and possibilities. Truly inspiring others is what coaches do. It’s exciting and rewarding, but it also involves a responsibility. You’re helping someone find themselves and their path to success and happiness in life. So it’s important to use the best coaching methods available.
Newfield Network’s ontological coaching training programme is considered the Harvard of coach training programmes, and Newfield is routinely ranked in the top three coach training organisations worldwide. Watch this short video to hear about the power of ontological coaching:
Ontological Coaching
Ontological coaching is a method developed by Julio Olalla, the founder of Newfield Network. It taps deeply into the inner awareness and potential and helps people to develop new ways of looking at situations.
For many, this method has opened their world. All the facets of your life and relationships are examined. Once you can see an issue in a new way, you find new methods of dealing with that issue. To experience this “whole-body” ontological coaching method from the organisation who founded it is more than inspirational. Watch the video above to hear about the power of ontological coaching.
The programme is made up of:
in-person conferences
virtual study groups
individual coaching
self-study
During the programme you will be coached, and you will coach. The application of what you learn, as you learn it, makes it that much more powerful, as it becomes experience.
Once you have completed the training, you become an integral part of the network that graduates of the course find themselves linked to. This community is always in conversation, working together and supporting each other.

Frequently Asked Questions about Newfield Coach Training:
How long does it take to get certified as a life/executive coach?
This depends on how quickly you can gain the required amount of coaching hours. To get certified with the ICF (International Coach Federation) at their initial level (Associate Certified Coach), you need to complete at least 60 hours of coach-specific training. You also need to have at least 100 hours of experience coaching clients. Our programme gives you 124 hours of coach-specific training. It will be up to you to get the 100 hours of coaching to be certified. When you graduate from our programme, you will then complete any additional requirements and apply for certification.
Coaching has become a more recognised and needed industry. It has been a very fast-growing industry. To get up-to-date statistics on coaching, you may consult the ICF website.
What happens during the training? Will I get practical experience to help me become a good coach?
In the Newfield coach training programme, you learn individually as well as in groups, and you are also required to conduct your own learning groups and practice coaching. Between these experiences and the challenges given by the instructors, you will learn, experience, and apply the training in a practical, usable way.
