Ontological Coaching: Every Level of Coach Training from Beginner to Master
Ontological coach training is a commitment to excellence.
Coaching is more than a profession—it’s a calling. Ontological Coaching® is a holistic and effective way to help people discover all that is within themselves and open their view to new ideas and possibilities. Truly inspiring others is what coaches do. It’s exciting and rewarding, and it carries a significant responsibility. You’re helping someone find themselves and their path to satisfaction and happiness in life. So it’s important to use the best coaching methods available.
Newfield Network’s ontological coaching training program is considered the Harvard of coach training programs, and Newfield is routinely ranked in the top three coach training organizations worldwide. Newfield founder Julio Olalla defines what coaching really is in the short video at right.
Ontological Coaching
Ontological Coaching is a method co-developed by Julio Olalla, the founder of Newfield Network. It taps deeply into inner awareness and potential and helps people to develop new ways of seeing life.
Newfield’s approach is truly “ontological” with deep and balanced learning in the domains of language, moods/emotions, and body. With the support of our global community, your learning begins in conferences, continues through credentialing, and lasts a lifetime.
For over 6,000 students worldwide, this method has opened their world. All the facets of your life and relationships are examined. Once you can see an issue in a new way, as a "new observer," you find new methods of dealing with that issue. To experience this “whole-body” coaching method with Julio Olalla is more than inspirational.

Frequently Asked Questions about Newfield Coach Training:
How long does it take to get certified as a life/executive coach?
This depends on how quickly you can gain the required amount of coaching hours. To get certified with the ICF (International Coach Federation) at their initial level (Associate Certified Coach), you need to complete at least 60 hours of coach-specific training. You also need to have at least 100 hours of experience coaching clients. Our Certified Coach Training gives you 124 hours of coach-specific training. It will be up to you to get the 100 hours of coaching to be certified. When you graduate from our program, you will then complete any additional requirements and apply for certification.
Coaching has become a more recognized and needed industry. It has been a very fast-growing industry. To get up-to-date statistics on coaching, you may consult the ICF website.
What happens during The Certified Coach Training? Will I get practical experience to help me become a good coach?
In our program, you learn individually as well as in groups, and you are also required to conduct your own learning groups and practice coaching. Between these experiences and the challenges given by the instructors, you will learn, experience, and apply the training in a practical, usable way.
