Learn a comprehensive and holistic coaching approach. We teach coaching like no other school, and our graduates become extraordinary personal and executive coaches.
Specifically, we teach a simple yet encompassing model for coaching, developed and refined by our founder, Julio Olalla, over the last three decades—we call it Ontological Coaching®. This approach to coaching transforms your worldview and capacity for action while teaching you to coach others for sustainable change.

We strongly believe that coaching cannot be reduced to a “to do” checklist or oversimplified models. Coaching is a multidisciplinary profession that requires a comprehensive understanding of human growth as well as the development of finely honed skills to catalyse individual and organisational performance.
We’ve taught coaching since 1991 in North America, South America, and Europe. Our international graduate network reports enormously successful results and satisfaction. We promise that by participating in our coach training programme you will:
- You’ll transform ineffective habits of thinking and acting in your personal and professional life.
- You’ll develop coaching skills for maximum effectiveness and well-being.
- You’ll learn ways to start or build your coaching practice or develop an internal coaching programme in your organisation.
One aspect I love about Newfield is the willingness everyone holds to look again and deeply ask what it means to be fully human, to understand where we get stopped in becoming more fully our gifts. I look at the troubles of the world, and I believe the learning Newfield offers helps address these issues. It gives you the confidence to stand up for what you want to create. —Susan Alexander, 2006 graduate |
Newfield’s multidisciplinary approach is immediately practical and grounded in contemporary principles and proven practice: the philosophy of language; phenomenology; the biology of cognition; the work of Dr. Clare Graves and contemporary philosopher Ken Wilber; recent advances in body/movement studies; emotional intelligence; the latest in personal and organisational development theory and practice. Our models, materials, and methods catalyse your learning and your ability to embody the changes necessary for effective change and masterful living.
